Privacy Policy

This policy explains how AOrganizer Classroom (“the application”) accesses, uses, stores, and shares information when an approved test user connects an account. The current private preview focuses on Google Classroom. Connections to Canvas, Aeries, ParentSquare, Gmail, and Google Calendar are planned or in development and are not represented as currently available.

Information we access

With the user’s permission, the current preview may access basic Google account identity information and Google Classroom information needed for the organizer, such as courses, coursework, due dates, submission status, and grades returned by the teacher. The exact permissions requested are displayed on Google’s consent screen before access is granted.

If future Gmail or Google Calendar features are enabled, they will require separate user consent. Access will be limited to the permissions required for the requested feature, such as relevant school messages or calendar events. Those permissions are not required merely to view this website and those features are not active in the current preview.

How information is used

Google user data is used only to authenticate the user and provide the connected organization and planning features the user chooses. It is not used for advertising, sold, or used to build advertising profiles. Data obtained for one feature is not used for an unrelated feature.

Storage and security

The application uses reasonable technical safeguards appropriate to a limited development environment. Access is restricted to approved test users. Data is retained only as long as needed to operate and evaluate the application, meet legal obligations, and resolve security issues.

Sharing

Google user data is not shared with third parties except service providers acting on our behalf where necessary to operate the application, when directed by the user, or when required by law. It is not transferred for advertising purposes. Connecting one service does not authorize the application to disclose its data to another service.

Google API Services User Data Policy

The application’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Your choices and deletion

You can revoke the application’s access at any time from your Google Account’s third-party connections page. Test users may request deletion of application data or ask privacy questions at hello@aorganizer.com.

Changes

This policy may be updated as the application develops. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a revised effective date.
